Q: When can I register my child?
A: We accept new registrations during the summer months beginning around the end of May until about the end of August
Q: How can I register my child?
A: At this time we do not offer an online registration, but you can register during the summer months anytime we are having an open house or classes. We will register students for summer classes beginning with our first open house in either May or June and will begin registering students by July for classes during the school year.
Q: What should my child wear on their first day of class?
A: If they already have dance clothing appropriate to the style of dance they may wear that, if not they can wear a t-shirt, stretchy pants with socks and tennis shoes. Once a child decides to continue in a class, specific dancewear can be purchased. Information on dancewear specifications can be found on our Class Information page.
Q: Where can I purchase dancewear for class?
A: We can order dancewear through our studio catalogue to suit all of your child's dancewear needs. We measure students to ensure a proper fit and will take care of all shipping and exchanges if necessary.
Q: Are dancewear purchases returnable?
A: If there are any issues with fit or any defects with an item we will exchange them. We do not accept returns.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: At this time we only accept cash or check.
Q: Can I see my child while they are taking class?
A: Yes! We have windows between the lobby and our front classroom and our back classroom has a camera that connects to the TV in our lobby so you can watch class while in progress.
Q: How do I know which style of dance my child should take?
A: There are several different ways of determining which dance style will be right for your child. Coming to watch one of our recitals is one, taking summer classes is another. During the summer all styles of dance are offered at one rate as a way of helping children determine which style of dance they prefer.
Q: How would my child join the A Time to Dance Competition Team?
A: Our competition teams are open to students 7 years and older. Previous dance experience is highly recommended and required for students 8 and older. We have a placement day that is at the beginning of the summer to help determine teams. For more information on this please contact us via email or phone.
A Time to Dance's Christmas recital, "Away in a Manger" will be Saturday, December 12th at the Collins Theater in Paragould, AR.
